Nogime Temmoku Maki-e Tea Bowl

At first glance, it might seem like a glazed ceramic tea bowl. However, you would find it surprisingly light when holding it, which weighs only 72 grams.  This work imitates a "Jian" cup made of beech wood, natural lacquer, gold powder, and silver powder. The patterns were finely drawn with a maki-e brush, and the black pottery section at the bottom was also decorated using various lacquer techniques.
